I built a 30-day social anxiety challenge
Ok so I started building vibe coding an iOS app that allows you to do fun challenges like “stop smoking in 90 days” or “learn to play the guitar in 30 days” etc.
Then I got sidetracked. I remembered I once built an app to get over social anxiety so I rebuilt it with claude code in about 2 days. It actually turned out quite good.
I then asked Grok to brainstorm some fun ad ideas and let gpt-4o create them for me and then I tried to put them on Twitter and Meta.
Both rejected them instantly. Ok some of them were pretty fucked up so I removed those. Then Meta accepted the ads, Meta didn’t and just didn’t respond. Whatever.
So now the ads are running and I’m using Microsoft Clarity to see what users are doing once they open the website. Most just click away immediately but some are staying for multiple minutes reading everything. But they still don’t buy.
So I’m still at $0 MRR.
Next step will be to post on Reddit and give away some coupon codes so people can try it for free.
I think it’s a real issue this social anxiety thing as I have it myself and I would probably pay for it. But the issue I think is reaching the target audience.
I am also trying to post more on Twitter and experimenting with different types of posts. Like trying to make people curious etc. But so far it’s not really working.
Really starting from scratch but I think I just have to get used to putting my content out there even though it gets zero likes and almost no views. Just keep going.
The main thing is not to give up. Internal motivation vs external motivation. I know the journey is non linear, I knew this from the start. So let’s keep going.
Here are the best performing ads so far:

And here’s one that I think didn’t get through the ad system:
